the growing size of the business units, growing competition, the fast turnaround in business, professionalism and accuracy in completing tasks, have led to an increased demand for professionally qualified managers.

A profession is an occupation that requires specialized knowledge and intensive academic preparations to which entry is regulated by a representative body.

The essentials that make management a profession :

-Specialized Knowledge: A management has a systematic body of knowledge that can be used for the development of professionals managers. Every manager must make deliberate efforts to acquire expertise in the principles and techniques. and must have devotion and involvement to acquire expertise in management.

-Formal Education & Training: No one can be a manager without going through a prescribed course of institutes and universities, Many institutes of management working for imparting education and training.
